‘’Huyo rafiki yake na baba, akamwabia baba yangu kwamba, ana kijana wake anataka kuoa. Baba akamwambia(rafiki yake), kwamba ampatie mahari kwani nyumbani kwake ana binti na ndiyo mimi. Hilo walikubaliana huko klabuni,’’alisema Sikitiko.

HIS HISTORY

Rt. Rev. Aloysius Balina, was born at Isoso, Ntuzu, Bariadi District on June 21^st 1945.  ordained priest on 27^th June, 1971.  consecrated Bishop on 6^th January 1985, by Pope John Paul II in Rome.  Installed as the first Bishop of Geita on 10^th March, 1985.  transferred on 23^rd September 1997.  installed as the Third Bishop of Shinyanga on 16^th November, 1997.

·        Diocesan priest –  Buhangija, Shinyanga town, Salawe, Bugisi, Chamgasa and Malili 1971-1975

·        Rector St. Pius Seminary Makoko 1975 – 1983
